STORY OF A CHILD
 
 
Child 1
“.. I am Babita, student of class VIIth in ‘DISHA’ school. Seven years ago I used to crawl. I am an orphan. Both of my parents died when I was merely three years old. My grandparent looks after me and my sister Kavita.

I Everybody look pity on me but could not do anything for me because my grandparents are old and have no means of permanent income. ‘GOD’ came to my help in the form of ‘DISHA’.
     I was admitted in DISHA without any need to spend anything at all. DSHA get me operated and now I can walk with the help of crutches and calipers. Everything is provided by ‘DISHA’.
     I want to be a teacher because I know I have to look after myself for whole of my life.
   

  I have no other dreams for the future which can be realized. ‘DISHA’ has promised me to help me as long as I am not settled in life.

 

 
Child 2
“ ... My name is Ravi. I am polio affected son of a laboures. He does not get enough money to meet the need of daily bread & butter. My both legs are polio affected. I have to crawl with the help f my hands to attend to my personal needs.”

DISHA came to my help and I started studying in the school. DISHA tried for my operation too, but according to the doctors nothing can change my plight now, but I am determined to change my plight with the help of DISHA.
      If not physically but by becoming self employed and worthy citizen of my country.
      I am a student of class VIth . I was judged best student of the year 2008. I am also being vocationally trained as Zari worker by the school so that I can earn my livelihood respectfully.
      

I hope to live up the expectations of my mentors.
There are many other who are like these three children , ambitious and hard working but they need your co-operation and blessing to achieve their goals


Child 3
“ ... I grew up in a very big but poor family of Bari Bihar Bareilly. Where people have to struggle and toil to get both meals. Monthly earning of more than 95% people is between 1000 Rs. To 150 Rs. I lost my arm in an accident at the age of five years.”

My name is Khalid.

My parents could not do much for me due to poverty the result is that I will be without one arm whole of my life.
     My father is a fruit seller having a family of ten people to feed. All my sisters brothers did not go to any school due to lack of finances. But ‘DISHA’ School for orthopaedically challenged children came to my rescue and I started going to school. Today I am in class Xth because I had not to pay anything of all in the form of fees, costs of books and transport expenses.
      My father can not provide for my clothing, fooding or medical expenses too. Therefore teach to small children of the village, and get some money as tution fees to meet my personal expenses.   


It is my ardent desire to become a P.C.S. officer. DISHA has promised to help me to realize dream and one day I will be what I want to be.
